What is Fear?
Fear is a natural emotion that everyone feels when facing a real or imagined danger [1]. It helps us react quickly to protect ourselves. For example, if you see a snake, fear may push you to move away to avoid the danger.
Biologically, fear activates certain parts of our brain that prepare our body to act, either by fighting the danger or by fleeing from it [2]. However, when fear becomes too intense or happens without a valid reason, it can lead to problems like anxiety or phobias [3].
